Seeing Through Walls.

to

Plan drill holes on a movable VR copy of a wall, then place the plan back on the real wall.

In Quest 3 passthrough, a controller sweep reveals simulated cables and studs. In VR, the user can move and enlarge a copy of the wall to place drill markers and routes. Returning to passthrough puts the plan back on the real wall.

Markers use wall-local coordinates, so moving the planning copy does not change their real position. Plans persist per wall anchor. The source and controls are public. Hidden structures are simulated; this cannot detect actual cables or determine whether drilling is safe.

My contribution and AI use

Built with AI assistance for a university XR exercise. The repository includes the interaction state diagram and controls. This is a planning prototype, not a tool for determining whether a real wall is safe to drill.
